Siobhan Fitzgerald
Siobahn has been teaching Yoga for over 25 years and runs a successful teacher training college in Glasgow.
She has extensive experience in the practice of Ayurvedic therapies, and specialises in traditional Ayurvedic massage. She brings her passion for teaching to her work in further education, where she has been lecturing in Eastern Massage, Anatomy, Pathology and Lifestyle since 2005.
She often travels to India for continuing study, working with scientists, doctors and researchers eminent in their fields and is honoured to be a student of Sri Op Tiwari, one of the few remaining Yoga masters and an inspirational source of authentic teachings on the science and philosophy of Hatha Yoga and Pranayama.
Siobahn's fluency in translating the complexities of Eastern knowledge and ideas into accessible language, enables us to adhere to the traditions and intentions of Ayurveda, ensuring that we maintain the right approach towards achieving the optimum outcomes, when we adopt these treatments for ourselves. and others.
She applies these yogic therapeutic principles in diagnosis and treatment of her students sharing her practice, awareness and insights of Yoga, breathing and Ayurveda; whose value lies in finding our way to a happier, healthier and more stress-free way of life.
