Breathwork + Pranayama
Workshops & Teacher Training
Breathwork is the simplest way of reducing anxiety, to balance hormones, boost your immunity and maximise energy levels. It's also the simplest way to connect with the inner space of our body and begin to cultivate meditative awareness turning that inner dial from negative to positive.
Modern science today supports what the ancient Yogis knew thousands of years ago. They pondered many questions and found solutions, to being more centred, focused and happy.
When you focus on your breath and self regulate the nervous system, you move from over thinking to being more embodied.
In other words, you get out of your own way!
How will this workshop benefit me?
This workshop & training is the opportunity to find out more about how to ‘untie’ the breath, how to release tension in the upper abdomen, to explore the cleansing practices or kriyas in more detail. It is an opportunity to fully understand how the breath becomes short and restricted and therefore contributes to our stress.
As we understand more about how to liberate the breath we can begin to explore how the different Pranayamas work on the body’s energies, gradually improving one’s health and transforming CITTA (the mind), our "filter" to the outside world.

Who would benefit from this workshop / training?
These Pranayama trainings are open to Yoga teachers and are extremely beneficial to health care professionals who are now seeing the importance of the breath within the wellness world.
Several GP's have now graduated from our teacher training as Evolve Yoga Training are recognised as leading experts connected to a traditional teaching lineage from Kaivalyadhama, India who place the science and philosophy of the breath at the forefront of Yoga.
These trainings can also be very useful for creatives such as dance and singing teachers, professional athletes, coaches, healers and anyone in the world of health and wellbeing.
Who will be teaching you?
It's so rare for Western Yogis to be connected to a living tradition because many of the great Yogic Masters have passed. However, Vicki Shields is taught directly by Yogic Master Sri OP Tiwari who is one of the few remaining Pranayama & Hatha Yoga masters of India.
